| The Band | What we do! | ||||||||||||||||

The band started life as a venture for the Physics Society Revue, but it went down so well that we decided to carry on and perform at the End of Year Party. The original line up were:- Emyr James : Bass, vocals Mark Lewney : Lead guitar, vocals Dave Churches : Rhythm guitar, vocals Gareth Lewis : Drums Me : Vocals (as well as Paul Jones and Mike Edmunds for one song each) Since then we have lost Gareth and gained Karl, who's an excellent drummer and a more than adequate replacement for Gareth. We have also attempted to gain a Horns section consisting (at the moment) of Wendy and Christian. |
Obviously we play / sing / piss about. But what do we really do? We play songs from every kind of music, from funk to heavy metal and disco to pop. Some of the songs on our current set list include: Lust for Life - Iggy Pop Walking on Sunshine - Katrina and the Waves Starsky and Hutch theme - James Taylor quartet Basket Case - Green Day I want you back - Jackson 5 Sex Machine (with alternative lyrics and wigs- see link at bottom of page) - James Brown | ||||||||||||||||
